Let me get this off my chest, I love organic milk.

If you haven’t had this stuff, there are whole realms of milk-ness which you are missing out on. There are several people I would gladly kill for a lifetime supply of organic milk. Now you know.

But there is one thing I can’t stand, and that’s organic marketing. Things like bumper stickers with pictures of the earth that say things like “love your mother”, anybody who calls me part of “the organic generation”, and unnecessary leaves all over a pouch of crisps make stomach acid come up in the back of my throat. What portion of the population is this supposed to appeal to? Is this just food for people with hemp underwear and ‘hot yoga’ patrons? How is NOT marketing to a wider audience profitable?

  Well maybe then the prices on organic food will go down. Oh wait…why should they? When surveys show people are willing to pay more for an organic product than they are a non-organic one, why even bother?

After all, you run the risk of appealing to something other than a twenty-something graphic designer.

Well I’ll just keep drinking my organic milk with my Jimboy’s Burritos.
